“The Hill of Crosses should not be missed! It's not very big, but is PACKED with crosses and other religious symbols and commemorations that people have left. It truly is awe-inspiring! Rundale Palace is very reminiscent of Versailles in France, but with a Baltic/Slavic twist. Quite beautiful and well-maintained. Bauska Castle was interesting from an historic standpoint, but is not all that scenic. The tour guide Erlens was very well-informed and fun to travel with.”
